3 weeks to go

i can't believe it that i am almost in my pregnancy fnishing line... my lil bub is really an active one, she became breech the next week and in position after, so my OB cannot decide if i have to have a C-section or normal delivery which i opted to in my birth plan. Well, Rob and I decided to wait because it is the best for both of us ( its all that matters anyway) . So what a heavy pregnant SAHM doing lately... complaining .... the lack of energy , not enough sleep , house is always in MESSY state etc..etc. not to mention i am running out of patience with IZZY sometimes plus the bonus of Springtime with a hayfever the whole day...well, i am in a lucky country as my husband says coz i can still eat my fave food everytime i want it... and that is BACON ...call it cheap but i do love bacon with rice, bread or anything but in moderation now since its not good for me .. i started to swell i have no ankle anymore and face started to ballon.. the joy that pregnancy have ... i have it now... plus all those eyes telling me '' will i poop out soon or is my due date today? ... i wish ... but since 4-5% of women had given birth in their actual due date i might then enjoy setback and relax for the next 3 weeks ... besides i love the pampering Rob is doing to me right now which he is reminding me ''while your pregnant only" shhhh i should have to take advantage...

6 weeks

i am really feeling the weight of my bub... i am having hard time walking, sleeping, sitting everything .. i gain 10 kgs already. I am going to packed my bag to hospital this week and recheck things i need to do to get ready for my big day...i even did some spring rolls and put them in the freezer for Rob and Izzy in case they got no food while im in hospital. Speaking of Izzy she is acting differently , like she wanted to feel that she is a baby.. she even used her dolls dummy and do some baby talk before going to bed the other night. She even got all her baby pix and showed it to me to remind me that she was a baby before. I hope jelousy will not be a big issue in our household, she is a bit older then and hope she will be more of an ''ate" than a baby... Rob even telling her that if Mum is busy with the baby she can always have Dad if she needs something. So she said Dad will take care of me and Mum will take care of baby sister... I remember one of my friends said that she cried when she saw her lil sister in the hospital and their age gap 13 yrs... she was just so jelous she said. Maybe thats what happens in small family but since i came from a big one i never felt jelousy but anger coz we are so many, i even wanted to faked my father's signature just to have my Mother have ligation just like one of my cousin did to her mother.

8 more weeks

Yeah... so the nursery was cleaned up and painted as well, we already have in mind what to buy for the windows and the floors. And izzy's bed will be transfered there anytime soon and share the room with the new bub. Cot is ready and thinking not buying a changer but a sofa bed instead so i can sleep in in their room when Rob is in nights. I got a brand new pram and just a car seat /booster to add on to my buy list and i am almost done...though i know the lil bits and pieces will come when the bub is born.
Btw... last saturday Cristy the partner of Rob's student/mate throw a baby shower for me...its funny bec i didn't even know it was for me until Rizza asked me how was the party when we went home... i was in shocked and asked Rob abt it ...and proud of him too coz he kept it secret to me ... it was by the beach and we had a bbq (bit windy) and so relaxing the spring sunshine and the wind blows all worries and day to day duties away. Izzy loves the water but since South Australian water is always chilled bec of the water from the artic she just can't resist it.

pinoy spirit

I felt like i was home yesterday back in our barrio...why? because the parents of my newly found friend Rizza were here to give us a hand . Our frontyard looks like a real one (at least as compare to our KB) and we had some ''pising'' too for lunch, saluyot with ampalaya cooked in bagoong with dried shirmp..yum!!

my new addiction ... ebay

i am just so proud of my ebay bid hehehe!! 34 pcs of girls baby clothing for 3.60 ausd...not bad for a 1st timer ...they are pre-loved but well looked after and since babies grow faster than we think its a money well saved. Also a high chair and a baby rocker for 46 ausd from a fussy mum she really looked after her lil girl things... i wonder how all the stuff i had looks like after my bub finished using them... i bet i can't sell them again on ebay...but me and Rob had a better idea and that is give is away back home.

10 more weeks and i am going to be a mum of 2 girls, the longest part i think it seems like its 9 more months. I am getting bigger and bigger and heavier as well. I havent done so much and not prepared much I have the baby's clothes ready and packed in case i am going to give birth early but not the nursery. Still got no flooring in the room i am planning to set it up, i got no cot and changer yet , i wish my brother Jojo's visa will be approved so i have had a help in all my to do list. Oh i forgot i already had a pram... one of Rob's student who had a pinay partner gave us a pre-loved graco pram still in good condition and just the one i needed for picking up izzy in pre-school.
school holidays...love it!! hate it!! Love it because we are out of our routine and can sleep in most of the mornings also time to be lazy and watch Oprah and Dr. Phil . Hate it because Izzy is in the house the whole day and she gets bored , we had several plans for the 2 weeks vacation and we wasted 2 days of it today because of me being lazy and want to finish my ironing and laundry first. Rob is still on night shifts for almost a month now and I pity him by waking him up just to drive us around to our schedule. So i am in my friends mercy again to pick us up and bring us home. Moral lesson you should be able to drive before going to other country esp. if staying for good!!!! miss ko no mag tricyle at pedicab.

busy sched

despite claiming of being busy and tamad ...analyse was right pre-schooler had lots of schedule too. Izzy's calendar is full as well and our weekly routine though monotonous its TIRING!!! 4 days a week she goes to kindy from 12nn to 3pm then friday her swimming lesson so our weekdays is full of izzy's sched... i am really bargaining her enrollment to proper school next year (1st term) but she is 2 weeks younger and the school administrator said that its a policy not to admit kids under 5 yrs old in public school, why public school ?

1)because its very near the house 5 mins walk from our doorstep to schoolground, very good for me and the baby since i dont know how to drive yet ...all i need is a pram...

2) check the school facilities and its so high tech and mind blowing

3) most of her pre-school classmates are going to same school ...

4) we can't afford to put her in private school

but she can be admitted in private school in her age ...meaning if you have all the money in the world the rest is history...

well... the pix is saying i am busy socializing as well... they are my 1st few friends i have her...wena in white too she is moving to Darwin( fr visayas) and riza ( from batangas) my pinoy food buddy her son TJ (Batman) is Izzy's classmate in swimming lesson

ebay and pregnancy!!!

hay... allow this pregnant mum to be lazy most of the time hehehe, actually i am not as lazy as u might even think i am just having a new addiction and since all addiction it is i am really into it. Yeah i am into ebay (ukay in pinas) and loving it...all my limited productive time is infront of the computer bidding for baby things, so far so good, i spent 49.60 ausd for 3 baby items :
1) 20 ausd - baby rocker that is so pink
2) 26 ausd - for a high chair that is barely used
3) 3.60 ausd - u wouldnt believe 36 pcs of pre-loved baby girls clothes sizes 0000-0
so happy with my purchases and since it was my first time and all the items were picked up the last item i was really waiting for my change and Rob said it cost him more on petrol wating than the 1.40 ausd i am waiting for malay ko ba.. 50 pesos na din un noh! Sayang i have deleted the pix on my ebay account but ull see it soon when my bub is using it. And since my husband is a good neighbour (as he is claiming) one of our generous kb(kapitbahay) gave us heaps of baby girls clothes that i have enough for the bub until she will be size one not to mention all of Rob's relatives and friends ( and my 2 friends too) who are all excited with the baby like us. Sana wag na damit i really had enough ... toys will be great or other stuff that baby needs like cot, changer etc..( hahahaha namili ba) or nappy though i opted to use environmentally friendly nappy as social responsibility.

some of ''only in Oz" animals

i am a lil bit scared with the kangaroo bec. i have seen videos how they kick people and be nasty , but seeing my daugther not scared and so brave to touch them so go na din ako. I feel a bit guilty as well bec. they taste so yummy ( meat so lean, no cholesterol ) but such a gentle animal pala. The smaller one on top with the enu has a joey in her pocket but decided not to show us, like any mom she is really protective.

so this are my 2 girls... i am 5 months preggy . Finally took the courage to display my tummy that everyone is mistaken as 7 months . My ultrasound shows that the bub is normal in her size and age and I only gained 2 kls since my morning sickness stops but i got lots of fluid that makes my tummy so big and the reason why i can feel the kicking early because she got all the luxury to move freely anywhere in her little world.
I got emotional when we found out it was a girl during the ultrasound last tuesday , maybe because of expectations or mind set that we wanted a boy since the start even Izzy calls my tummy baby brother . I got no idea just maybe an emotional roller coaster of being "buntis" ( tnx I got the excuse) and the fact that we cannot get the video because we are unfortunately been into the latest machine they have and it was not yet set up for dvd recording so we need to book again if we really want to repeat the procedure. Ayun lalong naiyak ang lola, just a few hours of melt down and a nice chicken soup in scoop on the way home plus our visitor Sonya gave me me a nice hand bag which i am desperately wanted to have but can't afford . Then we decided to go to the movie ( tuesday is a cheap ticket day 6ausd less) batman dark knight so i feel better when we go home.

baby kicking...mum balooning

its a nice feeling that my bub finally show some signs from the world he is into and sharing it to us...he started to kick me, even Rob feels his kick every now and then when he puts his hand on my ever balooning tummy. Rob reaction was so unexplainable i thought he was not affected or excited at all but i have learned that he just hide his excitement because when friends came around he is boasting about it that the baby now kicks. ( i used ''he'' but we will soon know the gender )

All of my friends were asking bagong pix naman ni izzy ... as if ! they just wanted to see how big i am now bec. i keep on telling them over the phone na sobrang laki ko with my 2nd pregnancy . Next week after ng vacation namin post na talaga ako ng bagong pix para hindi lang bahay namin lagi background you can see some places here in South Australia as well.

blogging life...pinoy lifestyle

so many things to learn in this area..but i am enjoying it hopefully i will soon have a better blogsite in the near future and have the one that will enjoy my visitors to read and interact as well.

Sunday is SAHM's day off as well, just like all the nannies back in PI,HK, SING, CANADA all over the world?? I just sit on the couch and watch TFC the whole day from citizen pinoy to ASAP sayang i miss my GMA programs hehehe but even if your a die hard kapuso when your outside the country it really doesn't matter kapamilya man o kapuso o kababayan o kapinoy man yan... a taste of lil pinoy whatever, will ease the homesickness just like my husband bought my ''walis tambo'' from baguio in one of the asian shops because the one we have is about to retire. So I already cooked the lunch and tea for today so that i am not going to do anything aside from cleaning the dishes after tea (dinner) then watch my OZ fave program BIG BROTHER , i personally enjoying watching it to Rob's expense (he hates it)because its a new culture to observe ibang-iba sa pinoy version bait kasi ang pinoy to the extent minsan corny na or OA .

Kaya this week i have had a fair taste of pinoy food cooked in pinoy way and eaten in with a pinoy family nanay and tatay from Batangas, sarap talaga ng galunggong at tilapia walang kapares ang bagoong balayan at kalamansi at pinangat na tilos sa sukang datu puti with ginisang kangkong 10ausd 2 tali ..hay buhay pinoy sa ibang bansa , i tried to grow talbos ng kamote before but dries out last summer even the ampalaya namatay naman ngaung winter. Anyways my pinay friend here has the luxury of time and money to go to Melbourne and buy tilapia and all the pinoy stuff in a much, much cheaper price as compare here in Adelaide the reason pinoy community there is balooning as compare here so there are 2 pinoy talipapa in the market ''daw'' that sells all the fresh seafoods we love.

Rob went home from work telling me its in the paper that SA ( South Australia) will be hiring migrant workers here from the Philippines 10,000 skilled workers and they even called the article creating ''little Manila in SA'' so mga kababayan apply na sa qualified employment agency dyan sa Pinas and ''see yah later'' ( this means see u soon hindi talaga later )

pregnancy and all..

well most of the topic here may consist more of my second pregnancy and my first born's development... as my friend was saying that she feels guilty somehow with the second pregnancy in a way because of so many reasons , i felt the same way as well maybe because of the following reasons in my own opinion

1. not the first time anymore

2. got the first one to look after

3. more confident

4. work , work and work ( needs more moolah increasing mouth to feed)

but it does not mean we love or care less with the next one just that mum is really becoming a good and confident mum indeed..but not too confident every pregnancy is different

the real thing!!!!! finally...yipeeee...

i am like a lil girl who finally had the toy that i really wanted...a website/blogsite to post my ''ownrealme'' to update my family and friends about the new life we have just started all the way ''down under''

which reminds me of my Izzy she had this facination about "BEADOS" for a week now and she folded the catalog toy to the page where we can always see it and reminds us all the time that she wants that toy, given that she had heaps of pre-loved and new toys combined I am particularly testing her if she will stick to her desire toy...two days past she still like the "beados" 3,4, 5, 6 ,7 days past and mum gave up she really like the "beados" so she knows what she wants, since Rob is now working and I still don't know how to drive we both need to wait for him after work before going to the toy shop and to her dismay and my feeling guilty the "beados" that she wanted was now out of stock. So we end up buying the refill instead and going to wait for the real one until they have the stock...tsk,tsk,tsk..guilty pa din ako
